What the VETERANKA Movement Achieved in 2025
Over the past year, the VETERANKA Movement:
- raised UAH 3,383,583 through the “100 Angry Women” fundraiser;
- raised UAH 2,528,861 for the National Guard’s artillery reconnaissance unit and our member Olena Apchel;
- raised UAH 4,059,863 through the “Kuba & Alaska” fundraiser;
- launched the “KUBA & ALASKA” merchandise line;
- launched the educational course “Gender-Sensitive and Non-Discriminatory Communication in the Military”;
- launched two communication campaigns:
- “Courage Has No Gender” — reaching over 330,000 people;
- “Women Can Do Everything!” — reaching over 30 million people;
- opened a regional branch of the Movement in Vinnytsia;
- conducted 2 research studies;
- developed 2 sets of methodological recommendations;
- delivered 800 hours of mental health support for women veterans, along with educational activities;
- provided mentorship, support, and advocacy.
In addition, the Movement delivered UAH 22,347,549 worth of aid to the military, including:
- 13 vehicles;
- 284 FPV/UAV systems and components;
- 2,561 units of tactical medical supplies;
- 55 units of equipment and gear;
- 71 power supply systems;
- 39 communication devices;
- fuel for military vehicles;
- 665 heating units;
- 748 items of clothing and footwear;
- 4,216 camouflage items.
The coming year is unlikely to be any easier. So we keep working — together — to defend Ukraine’s independence.
