Together with four contemporary female icons, we are launching a major charity fundraiser for 6,000,000 UAH. The funds will be used to equip mobile air defense units of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, where our sister-in-arms “Ksena” serves, and to purchase Heavy Shot bomber drones for the “Rubizh” Brigade, where our sister “Yunga” serves.
We are used to fictional superheroes, but the real ones are among us. They command iron machines, see through the night, and hold the sky above our cities. A woman’s role in the military is no longer an exception—it is a new, multifaceted norm.
In honor of International Women’s Rights Day, the VETERANKA Movement is launching the large-scale “Women Can Do Anything!” campaign and a major 6,000,000 UAH fundraiser to strengthen the units where our sisters-in-arms serve.
Through a visual style inspired by comics and gaming aesthetics, we showcase four archetypes of Ukrainian defenders—strong, determined, and professional. These are the stories of women who are an integral part of our nation’s defense today, proving by their own example that Ukrainian women choose their own paths and can achieve anything.
In the style of modern graphic novels, they appear as superheroes, but their powers are real: precision, leadership, technology, and resilience. The core mission of our campaign is to present servicewomen as icons who may be diverse, yet are united by leadership, courage, and a tangible impact on the safety of civilians.
Heroines of the campaign:

Yunga – the Predator

Eva “Yunga” — FPV drone operator for the “Rubizh” Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Eva joined the Armed Forces at the age of 18 right after graduating high school. In her first 1.5 years of service, she successfully neutralized 250 enemy targets.
Like a true predator, she is defined by cold concentration and unwavering confidence. Her superpower is the ability to see through the darkness and strike with precision. She is the embodiment of emancipation and self-sufficiency, expertly tracking and eliminating threats to our cities with surgical accuracy.

Xena – the Shahed Slayer
Anya Tatu “Ksena” — UAV operator for the 37th Separate Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Her story is one of unconditional love for life and Ukraine. A Polish woman with a Belgian passport, she chose our country as her destiny. Despite living with a prosthetic limb, she chose the front line and fought for her right to serve in the Marines.
As a “Shahed Slayer,” she operates where the night must remain silent. Her superpower is fierce precision and the ability to be the first to spot threats in the night sky, saving thousands of lives.

Oksi – the Robot Commander
Oksana “Oksi” — Combat Group Commander of the Ground Robotic Complexes (GRC) within the “OMEGA” Special Forces Unit.
She first wrote her will and evacuated her two children abroad before joining the military. A successful entrepreneur in civilian life, she transformed her strategic talent into a weapon of the future. Today, she is the first female commander of a robotic systems group within the “OMEGA” special forces.
The “Robot Commander” possesses a “steel mind,” taming machines so that robots, not people, face the danger—ensuring every soldier returns home alive.

Multyk – the Amazon

Yana “Multyk” — Commander of the all-female UAV platoon of the 141st Separate Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
She is a symbol of resilience and sisterhood. After surviving the occupation of her native Kherson region and recovering from a combat injury, Yana didn’t just return to the ranks—she took command of the first-ever all-female drone operator unit.
Our “Amazon” can ignite the fighting spirit with a single glance. She is a leader who burns away prejudices and builds a new army where every woman is protected and heard.
