VETERANKA Movement’s Vinnytsia Chapter Gathering Held
A gathering of the Vinnytsia chapter of the VETERANKA movement has taken place — two days filled with conversations about community support, growth, and shared purpose.
Together with women veterans and active servicewomen, we discussed the region’s needs in the areas of rehabilitation and reintegration, shared experiences, and planned new initiatives.
The Head of the Movement, Kateryna Pryimak, presented VETERANKA’s strategy and core values. Sofiia Cheliak facilitated a session focused on values and needs. Advocacy expert Valeriia Kolomiiets delivered a lecture on advocating for the rights of service members and women veterans, while the Movement’s communications team introduced the “Women Can!” campaign dedicated to women defenders.
Psychologist and veteran Liudmyla Meniuk led a session using metaphorical associative cards, and Kseniia Lopatynska facilitated a therapeutic circle for participants.
The meeting was also joined by the Head of the Movement and active servicewoman Andriana Arekhta.
We thank our sisters from the Vinnytsia chapter for their engagement and commitment. The struggle continues.
The event was held as part of the project “Empowerment of Women Veterans with Disabilities,” implemented by Fight For Right with the support of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
