The VETERANKA movement and the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War joined forces to host an event dedicated to Ukrainian women defenders.
The program highlighted the continuity of women's military tradition — from the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (OUN) to modern-day service — through a lecture by Iryna Kotsabiuk, head of the museum's department for memorialization and the culture of remembrance.

In February, we maintained our usual fundraising capacity and sent aid to the frontline for UAH 3,594,729, including drones, Starlink, generators, cars, tactical medicine, and ammunition.
We delivered the first part of the “Strength of Sisterhood” fundraiser to the Dnipro and Donetsk directions. The full report will be available tomorrow.

We have summed up the past year and, with renewed energy, have set to work in 2025. We started the year with UAH 786,252, which was directed toward supporting the military on the front line. Our main focus is on drones and tactical medicine, as well as providing vehicles, fuel, camouflage, and power supplies.
Right before the New Year, we closed a large fundraiser of UAH 6 million. Procurement and request fulfillment are currently underway, and we will soon report on the aid delivery. We are also preparing new fundraisers for our female defenders.

December was an intense month, with the frontline approaching as inevitably as the holidays. And we, regardless of the season, did everything possible to support the women in the army who hold this frontline. With your help, in December, the VETERANKA movement team directed UAH 2,883,171 to support our military.
We managed to fulfill 32 requests from female defenders and their units. We handed over 2 vehicles, spent UAH 48,000 on repairing frontline cars, and UAH 21,800 on refueling them.

Kateryna Pryimak, co-founder and leader of the VETERANKA, a volunteer, has been awarded the prestigious Franco-German Human Rights Prize. This award is presented annually to activists from all over the world who dedicate their activities to the protection of human rights.
